A former CEO of Matrix Security and now an investment management president of Sutherland Capital Management, Ira Riklis is a business executive that knows no bounds when it comes to investing. As if he had the touch of Greek mythological King Midas, this savvy investor is turning everything he touches into gold. The son of successful New York Wall Street investor Meshulam Riklis who was born in Turkey but grew up in Tel Aviv during the Palestinian occupation of the city until it was turned over to Israel in 1943.
Meshulam emigrated to the United States with his wife and first daughter to pursue his schooling and eventually moved to New York after the family had tow more children in Minneapolis Minnesota. Ira grew up in the shadow of his father but chose to live in New York with his mother when the couple divorced.
Ira Riklis attended Penn State University where he met and married Diana and the two worked on their advanced degrees at the university after completing their undergraduate studies. After returning to New York City Ira began working on his career and managed to parlay a small fortune before becoming involved in the home security business where his management expertise skyrocketed the company to a reoccurring income stream of one million dollars a month. At the pinnacle of his command as CEO of Matrix Security the company was sold to ASG Security that serves the Mid Atlantic states with security systems and monitoring.
Ira Riklis then went on to work with COPS Monitoring that services the security systems and dispatches emergency assistance to alarm company suppliers. Because of his work in the security industry Ira Riklis now sits on the advisor board of directors for the Central Station Alarm Association where he and other board members regulate the monitoring efforts of the security industry providing training standards and uniform communication techniques for the alarm and security systems personnel that answer calls and dispatch the law enforcement authorities and emergency responders.
After leaving the office of CEO for Matrix Security Ira Riklis founded Sutherland Capital Management where he is the president of the company managing the investment assets of his holdings.
